Dog walking / home visit service, Laurencekirk area Aberdeenshire

1. Free initial consultation and welcome pack.  No enrolment fees.

2. Payment terms strictly 7 days upon date of invoice.  Cash, cheque, electronic bank transfer, or PayPal (fees apply - please ask for further details).

3. Hours of work are usually Monday – Friday 10:30 – 14:00 inclusive.  All rates quoted are based within this schedule.  Weekends, evenings and all public holidays are at the quoted rates X2.  Days and / or hours outwith the above are negotiable.

4. Full public liability insurance is held.

5. I am police checked. 

6. All work is carried out in compliance with Scottish Outdoor Access Code, Aberdeenshire Council Animal Welfare Regulations and Dangerous Dogs Act.

7. In accordance with my environmental policy all mess is cleared up using only degradable waste bags.   These are available for sale – please ask for further details or visit the online shop dogpoopbags.co.uk.

8. Full and easy access to dogs is required.  For expediency the owner shall allow access to personnel via a mutually compatible method.  Failure to provide full and easy access to carry out agreed duties will incur charge of agreed rate.

9. Upon agreement to a plan, 24 hours cancellation notice required by owners.  Failure to provide agreed notice period will incur charge at agreed rate.

10. Where dog walking agreement applies, the rate is inclusive of collection / safe return to dog exercise area, exercise period as agreed, treats, clear up of mess, full insurance, daily activity report if required and safe security of premises after my visit.

11. Where home visit agreement applies, the rate is inclusive of release dog into garden for toileting, treats, clear up of mess, full insurance, daily activity report if required and safe security of premises after my visit.

12. All dogs to have own collar, lead and identity tag.  Collar with name tag is a legal requirement.  Where applicable owners to provide details of identity chips.

13. Dogs will be kept on leads until a mutual trust / confidence has been established or on lead at all times if this is wish of owner.

14. All dogs to be fully inoculated / vaccinated.

15. No group walks for female dogs in season.  No group walks for ill dogs.  One to one rates / home visit rates apply and are subject to availability.

16. Any special requirements to be advised by owner.

17. Owners training / command words are used.

18. Adverse weather conditions may lead to a limited service.  Mutual communication is required.

19. Owners to provide dog towels if required.

20. Owners to provide full daily contact details as applicable.

21. All information / contracts remain strictly confidential by nature at all times.  All visits are discrete and confidential.  Please visit our Privacy Policy for further details.

22. Leadson Dog Walking reserves the right to alter / reschedule plans with reasonable notice in accordance with work schedule. This could affect prices and rates.

23. Contracts can be terminated by either party at any point.
